Thick & Sturdy with Great Sound. I got two of these audio cables for waterproof mono speakers I had bought to play my iPod outside. The cables that came with the speakers were anemic-looking little things, maybe 18″ long at best. And then I discovered that I could use only one speaker at a time. Time to go shopping again!One headset splitter later and these two beefy cables and we can rock out anywhere and spread the speakers up to 30′ apart; we went with the 15′ cables, as 50′ apart seemed a bit excessive – the speakers aren’t very loud. With the volume at full blast, I haven’t noticed any static, so I’m very pleased. They come with a warranty, but these cables are so thick and sturdy that I shrugged it off, doubting I’d ever use it on an $11 item.

Does NOT work with Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones. The cable seems well made, but I was not able to test functionality. I purchased this cable to see if I could use my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones as a wired gaming headset (the headphones have a built-in microphone). Unfortunately, the metal band/extension piece is slightly too wide to fit into the headphone-side jack. As an alternative, this cable (search for B07X4JZQ3H on Amazon) with built-in boom microphone worked well for my purpose.

Loud, but not the way you want. Despite being very well built I’m not sure if I’ll keep this. I bought the 4ft cable to use to circumvent the Bluetooth on my Bluetooth headphones. It does that, but when the braiding on the cable scrapes against itself, it is so loud that it interferes with listening to my podcasts! And it scrapes against itself every time I move! The headphones are noise canceling, and yet I can still hear this cable rubbing against itself, even as the headphones block the sound of the (loud) air conditioner next to me. Which is really too bad because otherwise this is an excellent cable. It is very sturdily built with excellent sound, (other than the scraping) and appears that it would last a long time without fraying. I could probably fix this by covering it in shrink tubing, but that seems kind of like overkill. I really can only recommend this if you are using it for something other than headphones, or if you are catatonic and never move.

Unsteady connection. So disappointing! Sound doesn’t fully connect unless you wiggle it and even then it doesn’t play all of the sound. With the slightest movement, or even the wire naturally relaxing, the sound disconnects again!I have no idea how this product is still on the market. They are obviously not calibrating the size and sensitivity of the connector at all.The whole point of purchasing these cables was for us to have a STABLE CONNECTION between our audio source and 2 speakers for our party. (Because last year our neighbor’s video baby monitor nearly ruined the dance party when he came in-between the speakers and messed up the bluetooth! lol, but wasn’t funny at the time)THESE CABLES are TERRIBLE and are not the answer to CONNECTING your music from one source to ANY SPEAKER.Returing and going to purchase from a brand I trust.

Worked well for a split keyboard. I was using this for a Ferris Sweep split keyboard I built last summer, and this cable worked well to connect both halves together. For audio it won’t be a huge help for headphones, but I could see this being very applicable for connecting a device to an AUX port of a vehicle.If you’re considering this for a split keyboard, this cable had a good response time between both halves, and I didn’t run into any issues of connectivity or loss of inputs.

A great cable with a really strange….quirk. First of all, this is a very well built cable. However…it has a problem.If you plug it into a headset and the cable itself scrapes against a hard surface, like a desk, then depending on the headset you use the thick sheath will actually transmit scraping sounds to the earpiece that can be heard through the speaker! I couldn’t figure out what it was until I shut off my amp and scraped the cable covering itself with my fingernail! SCRATCH…SCRATCH…SCRATCH… coming out of the left earpiece.I’m using a set of over the ear headphones that have a bluetooth connection that I’m not currently using. To be precise, they’re the Mpow 059 headphones, formerly sold here on Amazon. I’m keeping the cable for other uses, but I’ll have to order a cheaper one with a plastic cover so I don’t have the same noise!

Great Cable…but a bit Noisy. I needed a new cable to connect my bluetooth headphones to in-flight entertainment screens. This cable is clearly well-made, coils up for storage well, and I have no problem with tolerances on the connectors.However, when the insulating material rubs up against itself, you can hear some vibrations transmitted up through the cable – TO BE CLEAR: it is NOT impacting the audio quality, it’s simply the sound of the cable moving.If you want to connect a phone to a sound system, or your PC to some speakers, this is totally fine. I have no plans to replace this until it breaks, BUT: if you plan to use this with headphones on the go, I would recommend a different cable with a softer jacket.
