Just as easy to take a photo on your phone of paper note but not as wasteful Useful if you then need to annotate your scribblings in particular software. Always problem of keeping the required pen handy and it would be better if there was something on the pads to attach the pen to.

I have been using my Rocketbook Everlast for a week or two and it has been great. Historically I go through 1-2 150 page notebooks per month for work. The Everlast notebook has allowed me to do away with ALL future paper notepads. The FriXion Pen has an eraser which is great, but you need to make sure you erase it fully and completely or the remnants of the word/sentence could show up on the scan. Also, the scanning works very easily and is straight forward. My hope is that with future app updates, I can select specific folders within my cloud storage for the scan to be sent to. Currently (as far as I have been able to figure out), scans will only be sent to the “Rocketbook” folder on that cloud service. At which point I then have to go in and move it around to whichever folder I require – This is not a big deal but would be a welcome change/improvement!All in all, this is a great product that I recommend to anyone/everyone as a paper replacement.

1000 Notebooks in one. When I first ordered Rocketbook, is was on the recommendation of a friend. I was skeptical because of the erasable properties of the product. I’m a lefty, and I had two concerns. #1 I didn’t want to smudge all the time because the ink takes a bit to dry. #2 I don’t like slippery writing surfaces because it hinders my control. I had a hard time believing that that erasable surface would fee like real paper. Issue one wasn’t in issue because my grip doesn’t skid into the ink as much as I thought it would. No problems there! Issue 2 was solved the moment I started writing on it. This stuff feels like paper! It’s not like regular notebook paper. It’s more like writing on high-gloss magazine. It’s a pleasant experience to write on it. And I can’t say enough about the erasable quality. As long as you don’t put tons of pressure when you write, this book could last you decades. The ink rubs completely clean with just a little water and a microfiber cloth.I would love this book even it all it were was an erasable notebook, but it’s the app that brings it all to life! With the help of the app the Rocketbook turns into an infinite notebook! I love how you can send each page to a different folder with a simple X over one of the icons on the bottom. I have used my rocketbook to write up the notes for two terms papers, and to organize my notes for Dungeons and Dragons. I can throw everything into one book, and I don’t have to worry about how I’m going to find those notes later. I can check off the “D&D” icon I setup earlier and scan those notes to the cloud. And send my paper notes to their own folders. And now that my papers are done, I can set up new folders for the icons, with just a few simple clicks. If you think best through writing things down, or you need an extra little boost when in your organization, I can’t recommend this product enough. Even creative people will find this system valuable. The Frixion line has a wide variety of colored pens and highlighter, every one of which is compatible with the Rocketbook! Get a Rocketbook. It’ll be the last notebook you ever have to buy!

Note Taking to a Whole New Dimension. For starters, if I were in a role playing game I’d be a Scribe-Wanna-be-Warrior. I kinda document stuff like a hoarder keeps anything they might run across. I don’t remember details well past a few days, but my job relies on details. I’ve learned to thrive by writing/sketching down a lot of stuff that most people wouldn’t even think to keep. The Everlast Mini is my newest attempt and I’m very happy with it! Initially, I was looking for what is apparently the older version – the one you throw into the microwave, but it sounded like the Everlast model is the newest approach Rocketbook is going with. Before this, I’ve used Notability, Livescribe, and of course pencil/pen & paper.I’ve been using the Mini for a month or so now. I chose this size because I wanted to have something super-portable. The size is perfect. I can still get a full-page sketch scribbled out or a decent amount of text before switching pages. Given the relatively short time, I wonder how durable these notebooks are. I don’t think the pages will tear easy or the binding will break so that is good. There is some slight etching on the page that is left over, but that doesn’t really limit future writing/drawing. I have a sense that the page will eventually take on a new “finish” because the etchings will cover almost the entire surface. You can only see them when you hold the page at a certain angle, so it doesn’t affect the function at all. Anyhow, I gave a four star rating because I just don’t know how durable the notebook will be.The pages erase quickly with water and a paper towel. I keep forgetting, but I want to pack a small water atomizer that I have left over from my Skinomi smartphone class protector kit. They send you one to wet the protector before installing over your iPhone. Anyhow that would perfect to be able to spray the page with water and then wipe it clean. After relying on digital-inputted notes for so long, it is great to go back to analog! There’s something so much more personal about writing something out. It’s also better in a consulting role to scribble out notes than separate yourself from the other person with a screen and keyboard. I’ve found this notebook encourages even more creativity because unlike pencil & paper, the only consumable is the ink, so I end up writing/sketching way more than I used to because I can just keep going and going. It reminds me of the transition from film to digital photography. I could take tons of pictures and not be worried about the developing and printing costs and I used to have my own darkroom. I’m interested in trying out the other pen types that Pilot makes for their Frixion line. Rocketbook makes it sound like any of these pens will work with their notebook. I want to try out some thin markers next. It would be great to have some kind of pencil-like experience too! Pilot, please invent the Frixion “pencil” – erasable with only water! There is an odd feel when writing though that you’ll get used to. It does feel a little like you are writing on plastic at first, but I’ve gotten a hang of it. On a related note, the ink can be inconsistent at first because it doesn’t always take to the surface of the page consistently. Once the pen gets going though, it’s no problem. It’s only the first character or two of your first word though, and not all the time. That might be more the pen than the notebook, but they are used together as a system. The ink also may take significantly longer than just 15 seconds to dry. I’ve noticed that some of my sketches take up to 90 seconds to dry before I can flip a page or close the notebook. The software doesn’t pickup “edge bleeds” well. I wouldn’t recommend writing/drawing to the black edge of the page. The software has a difficult time scanning these pages. The software doesn’t always properly auto rotate the page. When it doesn’t, it leaves the QR code and then it actually deletes part of your page. Caution, you can lose important information if you have it in the opposite corner. What is the QR code for if not to detect rotation? They all appear to be identical. Normally, it is deleted by the software so it’s not an issue with your scans. One other minor thing is that sharing a scan via some other pre-programmed action takes a few extra buttons. It’d be nice if it were as easy to send to a different email ad hoc. Those minor things aside, I love the app. It is well designed and looks great. It didn’t take any time at all to get up and running.Rocketbook may not like this because I have a cheap and super-effective way to keep your pen with your notepad…wait for it…Duct tape!I know their pen keeper doesn’t get the best reviews – I haven’t tried it. I found this way is perfect for me. Just cut a piece of duct tape that is the length of the circumference of the pen, then stick it to a longer piece of duct tape so that the sticky sides adhere to one another. Then tape it to the back edge of your notepad and you have a 3-min, half-cent, flexible, durable, and even colorful pen holder!By the way, I’ve started to use their Beacons as well and absolutely love them! I need another set because I lost them 🙁

Buy new pens for this product it’s cheap don’t worry. I love this product. I’ve been waiting for something like this to come out for a long time. It’s exactly what I wanted. Just wish the notebook came in a bigger size. It works really well. Scans really fast and if you write really clean and use enough space between your words and letters you can enable handwriting recognition which is an amazing feature. You can have your notes transcribed to text and have your notes searchable even with your handwritten version. It’s really smart too most of the words were correct very good accuracy. I went into the document and changed the words to the correct ones. Google docs is smart and pretty much can guess the word you want when its highlighted so you don’t even have to do much typing. My recommendation for this book is to buy a new pen the the ones that came with this because the one they give you is kinda crappy in my opinion it smudges easily, it fades in between letters and its thick for my liking (alot of complaints on amazon I feel like are related to the pen because the Tech is amazing good news is this is easily fixable. I purchased from another seller a pack of 5 frixion ball .07 fine pens for like 6 bucks and it’s so much better. Trust me buy new pens it’s cheap and one wasn’t gonna last you a lifetime anyway lol Warning do not use eraser I read many reviews before buying and I always do and using the eraser will cause damage to the page. To erase lightly dampen the cloth and use a tiny piece to erase what you want have to wait until dry to write. What I do is skip over the wet spot and write the next word and when it drys I go back and fill it in if I’m inpatient but it doesn’t take too long to dry way less time then the old fashioned white out without any chems. I love this and if you buy it which you should. I hope you do too 🙂

Truly Reusable; Delightful To Use. I bought the Core (Everlast) and Mini notebook set for a one and a half month training school I have to take for work, and so far they’ve worked wonderfully. I loved that I felt free to take as many notes as I wanted during the day, and having both sizes let me write and diagram in the classroom and jot quick thoughts as I observed in the field and during more active exercises. If you give time for the ink to dry (around 5-15 seconds) no smudging occurrs, but I’ve found myself with smudges on occasion–particularly during heated note-taking sessions. To me it’s not a huge deal for a notebook I could use forever. The pages erase nicely, though it takes a little bit of time and discipline to erase each night as you want to give a few seconds for pages to c pok completely dry before moving to the next set. It takes more time than using the Wave, but its longer use, in my opinion, is a good tradeoff for a product I can keep using longer than five nukes in the microwave. The Rocketbook app is easy to set up with OneDrive, OneNote, and e-mail for the quick actions on the bottom that you just cross in the Core. There was a limit to how many pages I can scan at a time, but I split it up and went from there. Once I got into a discipline of scanning and erasing every night, that became a non-issue.I feel confident that I can keep using these notebooks for a very long time, and i hope to keep using the two notebooks for work tasks and drawing in the future. The dot grid is subtle and did not show up in any of my scans, and its spacing is similar to college rule, which is the spacing I prefer for writing. My colleagues have commented on my note taking set and workflow and I’ve been happy to let them try writing, erasing, and just using the app. They loved the idea of it and didn’t mind the few things (smudging and page scanning limits) that I’ve shared. I look forward to keeping these for a very long time.

Easily organize handwritten notes electronically and search with transcription. Handwritten notes are faster for me — especially when I’m on a conference call and managing multiple windows. I was losing important notes. I have tried lots of solutions, but this has been the best.I ordered a Rocketbook mini to try it out. I love the reusable pages. The mini is a great size to eliminate all the post-it notes floating around my desk. I did have to learn to move the regular pens off my desk and I got a coloredFrixion pen so I didn’t grab the wrong pen by mistake. I use it for conference calls daily when I’m running the meeting. But it’s the app that takes this product to 5 star. Its a convenient phone app that allows me to immediately scan and file or email my notes. It will transcribe my messy scrawl surprisingly well, and attach the transcript to the scan. So right after the meeting I can file my notes. Then I can go back and search my notes by keyword. This is a significant improvement over searching through pages of handwritten notes in a notebook. Before the meeting starts I pre-label pages with the ##meeting title and date## so Rocketdrive names the file correctly. I set up a Google Drive folder just for my notes. At the end of the meeting, I scan them with Rocketbook, and they are automatically transcribed and saved in Google drive folder. I approve the title with a touch and away they go. Even if the transcription isn’t perfect, I can still search for keywords in Google Drive and find the notes from the meeting, or go directly to the meeting date. I can read my handwriting, even when Rocketbook can’t. If I need to forward the notes, I can edit the transcript. The organization is what puts this product over the top for me. I was able to clean my desk and keep it surprisingly clear. I’ve had it for two months and still love it enough that I ordered a notebook in a larger size for longer notes. I ordered a set of white board beacons for a conference, but unfortunately, it was cancelled. I am looking forward to writing a review on the beacons then.I wish there were a destination for Todoist. Please put it on your development wish list. 😉 That said, there are a lot of different destinations available. I just noticed that there is a Slack destination, which I think I’ll set up.

Excellent product and seller. I couldn’t be happier. I had already had one Rocketbook Everlast (largest size). I added this bundle to my other one not because I was unhappy with the first one, but because it was so useful. It’s quick and easy to capture and send the pages, wipe the pages clean, and write. I’m planning to use the smallest size to tuck in my bag and track expenses. I prefer it to an app on the phone. It’s also great for quick lists or to jot down ideas. I use these for bullet journaling. The medium size for daily logs. The larger one for brainstorming sessions or info I need to keep for longer. Saves a lot of money and lot of trying to find notes, calendars, journals etc, storage space, and you never have to worry your work will be accidentally destroyed. Love them! Seller was on time (I did have to wait a while) and also sold more in line with the prices in the USA where the product originated. Get one! You will never regret it.

Eco-friendly game changer. I honestly can’t believe that Rocketbooks aren’t more popular! I have been trying to be more conscious of how much waste I create and apart from plastics, paper is the number 2 culprit for me. I started using a whiteboard to make lists and take random notes to avoid wasting paper, but it was really impractical and difficult to keep track of.The Rocketbook Orbit solved all of these problems!!! It takes a few minutes to get used to writing on it because the material feels a little slippery at first, but after that, it feels as good as using a regular pen and paper. It’s just better because there is no waste :)The app is awesome — easy to use and has great functionality. I love that it takes me two seconds to scan my pages and either email them or save them to any folder in my Google Drive. I also LOVE the smart list function. All I need to do is draw little check boxes before each list item and the Rocketbook app converts it into a checklist for me — super convenient when I’m on the go and don’t want to carry a paper list around!I am in love! I have both the executive and letter size Orbits and will probably look into getting one of the other page packs soon. While there is a handy spot to store the pen at the top of the Orbit, there is no spot to store or attach the microfiber cloth which would definitely make it more convenient to keep everything together, especially when traveling. Anyway, that is just me nit-picking since I have no other negative things to say.So please buy this!! You won’t regret it and you’ll also do a small part in being nicer to our planet 🙂

Save papers, save trees. Rocketbook Orbit is an excellent legal pad for handwriting in the digital age. It is one of the best products in their company. The good quality steel rings attach to the magnet pad is amazing. The page pack is flexible and easy to flip. I can attach different page pack for different functions. The pen holder on the top is a plus. It decreases my anxiety to worry losing my pen. I’m very comfortable to use it. Orbit is light weight, sturdy and waterproof, the backing plate is strong enough to support for writing and carrying. I like to carry orbit around for running errands including working in the garden. To prevent losing my handwriting, I can scan and store it in the I-cloud in seconds. Orbit is an amazing tool for organizing, learning and recording, it’s worth it’s money. I’m glad to own it. The eco-friendly orbit is great gift for family and friends! Love it!

I purchased this product a year ago and I’ve used it on a regular basis during that year so I believe I am now in a position to post a review. The pages inside the notebook are a little plastic like but not to an off putting degree. It’s sort of what I expected, a non-porous surface. I like the grid marked on each page which I think is of some assistance when writing or drawing. The grid is visible but not distracting. The app has improved during my use and is simple to use and does exactly what it should. Pages get uploaded to cloud storage or sent via email, whatever your preferences, without a hitch. When you have uploaded or finished with a page, it’s a simple job to clean it with a damp cloth. Once it’s dried, a bit of dry tissue can speed up the job if you’re in a hurry, you’re ready to go again. All good so far.Now the bad news.During the life of the notebook, a year so far, the covers, in particular the front, have become distorted. They are now far from flat, each has a definite curve. I have tried bending the covers back, I have tried pressing the covers flat with heavy weights for prolonged periods. Nothing seems to work because, sooner rather than later, the covers are curved just as they were before. It’s a shame because other than that issue I was very happy with the product. In all honesty, I am unable to recommend this notebook because it’s become a pain in the bum.UPDATE: The seller has contacted me. Apparently there have been a certain number of notebooks from one production run which had issues with the covers curling. They have promised to provide me with another notepad. That’s certainly increased the customer service kudos. I’ve updated my rating from 1 star to 2 stars. I will update again when and if I receive the new notepad.UPDATE 2: Well the book didn’t turn up despite the promise. I waited a month. In a final move towards completion I sent them an email to remind them of their promise. Hey presto, a few days later a new notebook arrives at my office. So far so good, no unwanted flexing and bending and everything seems to be in order. My final verdict.I am now in a position to recommend the product on the basis that the first book was an isolated manufacturing blip.As for customer service it seems a bit hot and cold but we got there in the end.

Rocketbook vs. Elfinbook: I use both and here is my opinion. Each of these books has their pros and cons. Hopefully I can outline both for you from my perspective so you can see what you prefer.Paper: Rocketbook uses a paper that feels more plastic and thin. Elfinbook paper feels more substantial and the ink takes to it much faster. Rocketbook uses a square dot grid pattern, while Elfinbook has lines, much like a normal notebook. So when you scan from Rocketbook, it comes across looking like you just wrote on copy paper (no lines) while Elfinbook comes across with lines for more of that notebook look. For my preference, and others that I’ve let test, Elfinbook was the clear winner here.Size: Somewhat arbitrary as I’m guessing both have different sizes. Rocketbook is more of a personal notebook size…think DayTimer size. Elfinbook was larger and a little less convenient to carry around. The drawback with Rocketbook is the size does prohibit the amount of info you can put on a single page. More pages mean more scanning and organizing. Elfinbook held more notes obviously and it is nicer to have more space for sketches, thoughts etc. I call this one a draw, as it is a personal preference. I personally prefer the smaller size.Page Turning: Odd category I know, but that is why I included it here as I never thought it was a big deal…until now. Hands down, Rockebook wins here with being able to turn the pages just like a spiral bound notebook. Elfinbook, with its thicker pages required me to open the book and fidget with the pages and spine to complete a page turn…without being concerned of ripping near the spine. Rocketbook you can treat like the old school notebooks: flip pages behind current page and keep going. Elfinbook required a lot of effort for me to even want to try and do that.App Integration: Rocketbook gives you multiple options to instantly send your notes just by simply making the symbol on the page. You’ve previously told the app where each symbol will send the note. Rocketbook seamlessly reads that and bingo, your document shows up where you told it. Elfinbook is more of a manga process. You have to pick where you want it each time. That becomes a hassle if you use the book for multiple entries (work, personal, diary etc) and have to continually switch where you want it to go. With Rocketbook, I could use 10 pages, each with a different place to go to the cloud just by marking the symbol, take the scan and you are good to go…no delays, no switching after each scan. Rocketbook takes this category.App: Hands down, Rocketbook’s app is more polished. Elfinbook has a ways to go and could be superior with a few updates. Their OCR is horrible (Rocketbook doesn’t offer that). Elfinbook has a burst type mode and does seem to capture pages faster with its dark border recognition feature. I give this to Rocketbook again, it is just a more polished app.All in all, I would take elements of each book to create a better one. I continue to use both, but want my Rocketbook to have lines on the paper, and have the thicker paper from Elfinbook.

An awesome addition to your office supplies. Got my Rocketbook today & took it for a spin & I’m very happy with it! I’m a double Virgo that also works in XD (IYKYK) & have approximately 1 zillion notebooks – 60% unused. They’re all cute, but it’s a problem. I chose the Orbit bc I’m left handed & coiled notebooks aren’t the worst, but I prefer to avoid them if I can (and right-coiled books are kinda weird). I used cursive, print & a mix of the two and the scans picked up all of it very well. The quality in all & in email is similar to Adobe Scan. The transcription in suffered a bit with a few typos, but not the worst. Any sideways text doesn’t do very well with transcription either. Be sure to write neatly for a good transcription. My mom may or may not have made me practice my handwriting when she found out her girl child was left handed. I can appreciate that now in this instance. The dot grid is super handy for wireframing & other spatial doodling or note taking. The pages are very slick so the pen moves across the page very quickly. DON’T PRESS TOO HARD. Cleanup was very easy. They recommend using a fine-mist spray bottle. I had one around & gave it a good number of sprays & let it sit for about 20 seconds. Holding the top with one hand & swiping downward in 3 or 4 strokes makes for very neat cleanup. Don’t rub around. You’ll just make a mess. The microfiber towel does shed a tiny bit though & that’s kinda annoying. I would like to see how an eraser-type option would work. The eraser on the pen isn’t bad. If you had erasable pens in the 90s, this is MUCH better. Will grab some different-colored pens. I caught a 4-pack of Beacons on clearance at Target for $5. So that’s a win too. I got the folio for the Orbit & I’ll review that when I use it for a bit. She a lil thick, but we’ll see.

A bit expensive, but worth it in the long run. I’ve bought other Rocketbook products for personal use, but I wanted something for my work that didn’t cause so much paper waste. I am very glad I purchased the orbit; I can stage it by my phone for quick notes, and then scan to email to whoever I need to without having to compose a whole new email. No transcribing, not even copy/paste, just scan to my work email and then forward to the right person. Several coworkers are interested in the orbit and other Rocketbook products now just from watching me use mine. I also like the option to customize pages and build my own notebooks with the 3 ring binders we keep at the office. Awesome products, would highly recommend.

Great for the healthcare field. The media could not be loaded.  I work from home in the healthcare field. Working from home, most of my day-to-day uses my computer, but I also answer phones and write things down that contain PHI. This is a great device for that, because I can take notes like a typical notepad, I can wet erase them just as easily, to avoid needing a shredded because of HIPAA. I also never run out of paper or sticky notes now, because I can reuse this over and over. It comes with multiple pages too, so I can keep notes written down and use a new page when needed if I don’t want to erase something yet. I think it’s fantastic. I’ve also used the app to save different things I’ve written – like meetings or to-do lists. That makes it so easy to remember my notes and to add things to my calendar on my computer or phone. It also translates hand written notes to text with the app, which helps if I need to save something for future reference on my desktop. I think it’s great!

I love this notebook. The media could not be loaded.  I love this notebook!!-I love that it’s reusable. I have a hard time remembering things and typing it on my phone just doesn’t work for me, it helps for me to actually write it down.-I love that the notepad is small and more portable and the purple color is really cute!-I also like that you can scan the page into your phone- – The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because sometimes it takes a second for the pen to write, idk if it’s the pen itself or if it’s because of the material of the page. Regardless, it writes fine after a moment of writing! Also, ignore my bad handwriting hahah
